Thanks for joining me on my deep dive into teaching methods for occupational therapy education. I've been teaching entry-level graduate students as a part-time (adjunct) instructor since 2018. Along the way I've bookmarked, written down, and/or saved on my computer a wide variety of resources and ideas related to evidence-based methods for instruction and assessment in higher education. I'm looking forward to revisiting these resources and putting them into an easy to use and access format (enter: this blog).

I'm particularly excited to identify and explore teaching methods to support critical thinking skills in occupational therapy students. Critical thinking is a foundation skill that students must develop and use to guide their clinical reasoning, application of evidence-based practices, and cultural competency.

I'm not sure yet to what extent this blog will be shared or accessed by others, but I'm excited about the possibility to share my learning with others.
